PHOENIX — The Activate 48 Coalition today announced new voter outreach and education data showing a groundswell of voter outreach activity ahead of Election Day. New data shows the coalition’s member organizations have collectively knocked on more than 1.1 million doors this election cycle. The groups are continuing their work to elect Arizona leaders who stand for investing in communities instead of corporations and to defeat anti-democracy ballot initiatives through Election Day.
Activate 48 Coalition partners include movement-building organizations Living United for Change in Arizona (LUCHA), Our Voice Our Vote Arizona, Chispa Arizona, and Mi Familia Vota.
“Our partner organizations are working hard to educate voters about candidates and ballot measures that work against our committees, stifling our voice and making it harder to vote,” said Activate 48 Coalition Director Laura Dent. “The power of our democracy rests with the people. That’s why we’re encouraging voters to make a plan and vote for candidates and policies that put everyday Arizonans first.”
Activate 48 recently launched their No, Nope, and Hell No campaign against Propositions 128, 129, and 132 — all anti-democracy ballot measures that make it harder for Arizona voters to vote and affect change while swaying new power towards the Arizona Legislature.
This is what people power looks like:
- LUCHA has knocked on more than 320,000 doors
- Our Voice, Our Vote Arizona has knocked on more than 350,000 doors
- Chispa Arizona has knocked on more than 244,000 doors
- Mi Familia Vota has knocked on more than 210,000 doors
Election Day is Tuesday, November 8.
